Hanging Shelves for a Client

Hanging shelves do not interfere with parking a car

Here is a client that was looking for garage storage improvements.  The garage interior was bare stud walls on 3 sides and drywall on the common wall with the house.  Houses built in the last 20 years or so require drywall on any wall connected to the house.  This includes the ceiling.  We had 2 side walls and the wall around the overhead garage door to finish.

When it comes to how fussy you should be about finishing your garage, remember that this isn't your living room.
This client has two little girls under the age of 10. Like most kids their age, the garage presents a dark and spooky place.  The new shelves, next to the interior door from the house, allow them to throw the recyclables into the bins and retreat quickly into the safety of the house away from those creatures that live in the garage.
Hanging shelves make great use of vertical space
Easy access to recycling
